Louisiana Legislature Track
Beginning with the 2010 legislative session, LCI will track bills relevant to the Fund members and keep them abreast of ongoing issues through LCIA's bi-monthly newsletter and website.
Each newsletter is created to help keep LCI members informed with small business news, calendars and a host of easy-to-access, relevant resources—oftentimes bringing the important information our members need within just one click.
Both LCI and the Urban Conservancy’s Stay Local! New Orleans are focused on connecting local businesses with each other, new markets and valued resources. Stay Local! supports a five-parish area around New Orleans working to help raise the visibility of Louisiana businesses and market them locally. Together, LCI and the Urban Conservancy plan to start a joint continuity workshop in 2010 to show local business owners how to bounce back after the next big hurricane.
